NOONER'S CO-ED SOFTBALL LEAGUE SPECIAL RULES, CONDUCT & GENERAL INFORMATION

OBJECTIVE: We are a flexible, fun softball league whose goal is to enjoy the game, have fun and maintain a friendly relationship with teams and players. These rules on the proceeding pages are Official U.S.S.S.A. Rules and Regulations and will be enforced by the U.S.S.S.A. in any TOURNAMENT play that your team might participate in. Our league is not strict in the enforcement of these roles and we do not promote that any players argue these rules vehemently (lighten up, have fun). I sincerely hope that every, single player has a great season and I look forward to playing (and partying) with all of our teams.

Sincerely, The League Officers, President

SPECIAL RULES

1) There is a white pole on the fence at Right, Center Field: To the right of this pole is a single, to tile left of this pole, up until the light pole in center is a double and to the left of the light pole is a Home Run.

2) If a ball hits the trees hanging over any of the fences, it will be ruled a single, double or home run, depending on the location of the ball.

3) Any ball that goes under the fence will be a dead ball with the runner(s) advancing to the next base.

4) Any ball that goes into the bleachers or into an out-of-play area will be a dead ball with the runner(s) advancing to the next base, provided that ball was fair initially.

5) Base runners will not slide into defensive players with the intent to harm or injure the defensive player. We have not really had to deal with this problem, so it will be addressed per situation.

6) Line-up rules go as follows:

7) Teams must have at least three girls in their line-up at all times.

8) With nine players and NO DH, you may have three guys in a row ONLY once.

14) Player's are expected to respect the Umpires and remember that they have the final say!

15) Parents with children at the game, please pay attention to the game and your children if they are in the playing area.

16) Make every attempt to warn the people in the playground by Left Field if a ball is hit in that area.
